Migrant Mentoring Program – Mentors  (Settlement Grants Program)
A trained volunteer is assigned to new migrant families to provide assist them overcome isolation, orientation to Australia and link them to other community groups  and services.

Volunteer Tutor Program  -  Tutors
A trained English Language Tutor (AMES training of 18 hours) is assigned to a migrant who needs assistance with their English.

HACC - Multicultural Tucker Program  -  General
Volunteers are needed once a month to help prepare food, set up the dining room, serve lunch and clean up.

Telelink Program – Telelink Facilitator
The Telelink Program provides people of CALD back grounds who are frail, disabled or isolated an opportunity to speak with each other once a week via their home telephone.  The service is facilitated by a trained facilitator in a particular language.
If you are multilingual, can spare about 45 minutes a week and about 3 hours initially for your training and would like to become a Telelink facilitator.Contact Virginia Hocking, Project Coordinator, Telelink & Friendly Visitor Service on:

 Friendly Visitor Service – Visitor
This service provides people from CALD back grounds who are isolated, frail or disabled with a trained volunteer visitor who speaks the clients’ language.  If you are bilingual and have one to two hours of spare time each week,  Contact Virginia Hocking, Coordinator, Telelink & Friendly Visitor Service on:

Front office Reception/Administrative Support
BRMC is always seeking additional volunteers to assist with a range of receptionist and administrative support duties in the front office.  If you have some time on a weekly basis, that you could assist with BRMC’s clients and its operations, why not gain a range of new skills and competencies?
