Health Professionals agree that the best way to keep yourself healthy this winter is by receiving both vaccines. That’s why at this next Multicultural Community Vaccination Pop-Up Hub\, we are offering a FREE Flu vaccination for anyone booking in for their next COVID-19 vaccination. \nSaturday 4 June\, 10am – 2pm\nBallarat Welcome Centre\, 25-39 Barkly St\, Ballarat \nAppointments essential. \nBOOK NOW\n  \nWhy more COVID-19 doses?\nIt’s all about protecting yourself against getting seriously ill from COVID-19.\nIn time\, your immunity against COVID-19 decreases\, so booster COVID-19 vaccinations are essential. \nWho can receive what?\nChildren aged 5-15 can book in for their FIRST or SECOND dose of vaccine.\nPeople aged 16+ can book in for their FIRST\, SECOND or THIRD dose of vaccine.\nPeople aged 65+ can book in for their FOURTH winter dose four months after their last COVID Vaccine.\n(Please note that the THIRD DOSE is NOT available for children under 16 at this time) \nIs it safe to take the COVID-19 and the Flu vaccination on the same day?\nIt is safe to receive the flu vaccine and the COVID-19 vaccine together. \nParking available onsite in the Barkly Square car park (enter via Princes St South). \nFor further information about bookings\, please contact BRMC on 03 5383 0613. \nFor any medical enquiries\, please contact Ballarat Community Health on 5338 4500 or Ballarat Health Services on 0447 823 403. \n\nThis important initiative is a partnership between Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council\, Ballarat Health Services\, Ballarat Community Health and Women’s Health Grampians. \n
