DESCRIPTION:Session held by Ballarat Libraries. \nWith a shift to many people buying things online for the first time due to the restrictions imposed during this pandemic\, this training exercise will help people improve the safety and the security of any transactions they make. \n\nThere will be PDF notes emailed to all participants for use by all participants during the presentation and after.\nDuring the presentation the Be Connected Learning Portal training modules on Safety First and Online Shopping will be demonstrated\, and participants encouraged to explore. It will also be referenced in the notes and linked in the invitation email.\nThe content will cover ideas such as how to spot scams and unreliable sites/offers. *It will also look at safe payment methods and ways to track your spending.\nThe use of PayPal and limited debit cards will be covered.\n\nREGISTER\n  \n
