World Interfaith Harmony Week: Walk & Talk in the Wetlands

08/02/2020 at 10:00 am

World Interfaith Harmony Week is an annual event observed during the first week of February. This week is an opportunity for dialogue among different faiths and religions to enhance mutual understanding, harmony and cooperation among people.

Organised by the Ballarat Interfaith Network in collaboration with the City of Ballarat and Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council.

Join with people of different faiths and cultures in friendship as we walk around the gardens and learn about the creation of the Lake Wendouree wetlands and the indigenous sculpture park.

Talks by Deanne Gilson (artistic creator of Indigenous Sculpture) and Hedley Thomson.

Bring a picnic and rug to share a meal in friendship at the end.
