Harmony Fest 2021: Thrive Fundraiser Plant Stall (Harmony Market)
Friday March 26th at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Thrive Community Garden project is planning our first plant stall to raise money for the Ballarat Refugee and Asylum Seeker Network (BRASSN).
Anyone can help by donating plants, pots, potting mix and labels.
You might like to propagate cuttings from existing plants, divide clumps of herbs, pot up any seedlings that have sprung up in your garden or grow some veggies or flowers from seed.
You could even sprout the seed giveaways from the supermarket.
Another great way to propagate plants is by root division. Have you got a big clump of oregano or other herbs that needs breaking up?
If you need extra pots, seed raising or potting mix, we have donated materials at the Ballarat Welcome Centre, 25-39 Barkly St.
Please drop off healthy plants for sale to the Ballarat Welcome Centre in the week leading up to the market (from 22nd March).

The Thrive Fundraiser Plant Stall can be found at the Harmony Fest 2021: Harmony Market
on Friday 26th March, 10am – 2pm at the Ballarat Welcome Centre, 25-39 Barkly St.
Come along, buy something for the garden and help support refugees and asylum seekers in Ballarat.
Thrive is a pilot growing project supported by The Ballarat Foundation and the Victorian Government to increase access to culturally resonant fresh food to Ballarat’s diverse multicultural communities.
